Travel Visas

All individual who require a visa to attend Decennial 2020, please apply at least four months before the Conference Meeting Dates (March 26 – 30, 2020)

Citizens of certain countries must have an invitation in hand before they can obtain a passport from their government and apply for a U.S. entry visa.

Some consulates may have backlogs in scheduling visa interviews. Applicants should first contact the consulate to determine how long the wait is for an interview.

International Invitation Letter

The letter of invitation, though not required for the visa application, can assist as a supporting document. This letter by no means guarantees admittance into the United States but can provide evidence for officials to consider.
